RIMS Global ERM Award of Distinction 2026
Nomination Deadline: Friday, August 21
The RIMS Global ERM Award of Distinction honors RIMS member organizations from around the world that have created value through their Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) programs. The award is presented annually at the RIMS ERM Conference.
Does your ERM program, or one you know of, deserve this recognition? We want to hear about it! Submit your nomination by Friday, August 21.
To apply, provide responses to each of the following three questions in 500 words or less:
- Why do you consider your organization’s ERM program to be successful, and how do you measure this success?
- How does your ERM program connect risk with strategy, performance, or budget/finance of your organization?
- How does your ERM program influence/foster risk culture and sustaining capabilities?
In addition, include up to three testimonials from users, leaders, or third parties attesting to the excellence of your organization’s ERM program.
Award Process
- Please complete the official form by Friday, August 21, 2026.
- An independent panel of ERM professionals will review the entries to select an overall winner or winners.
- RIMS will contact winner(s) no later than September 30, 2026, and invite the ERM leader (or member of the winning organization’s leadership team) to accept its award.
- Please confirm that an ERM leader from your organization can attend the conference to possibly receive an award in Columbus on November 20.
- NOTE: Winners from the last three (3) years are not eligible in 2026.

Winners will receive an award trophy, one complimentary registration for the RIMS ERM Conference 2026, press release announcing your accomplishment, and an invitation to be a guest on RIMScast, the society's podcast.
