RETURN AND REFUND POLICY
RIMS MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATION
While a member may cancel their membership at any time, RIMS does not refund member dues.
Event cancellation and refund policies are specific to each RIMS event and governed by a contract which the attendee, sponsor, or exhibitor e-signs when agreeing to participate. Each such policy is contained in the individual event website and is available for review prior to e-signing.
If a participant cancels their workshop registration 14 or more days before the workshop, RIMS will refund the participant’s registration fee in full minus any non-refundable course registration fee. If a participant cancels their workshop registration less than 14 days before the workshop, the participant will not receive a refund but will receive credit toward a future workshop. If a participant starts a workshop but does not complete the Workshop, the student will not be entitled to either a refund or credit toward a future workshop. Any such refund or credit may be awarded at the sole discretion of RIMS.
Certification and re-certification exam fees are non-refundable.
RIMS GOODS AND PRODUCTS RETURNS/REFUNDS
If a customer wishes to return a good or material purchased from RIMS, the customer must request and receive prior authorization from RIMS. To be valid, the return request must be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org within 30 days of purchase. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. If a customer wishes to return a good or material because the customer believes the good or material to be defective, the customer must request and receive prior authorization from RIMS as outlined above. RIMS reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to replace, substitute, or repair the good or material deemed defective.
