RIMS to Host Inaugural Enterprise Risk Management Conference

August 17, 2011

Over the course of the three day event, there will be more than a dozen expert-led sessions addressing  today’s significant topics, such as how high performing organizations create - as well as protect - value using strategic risk management; using ERM for resiliency and sustainability; how a CRO can build credibility and drive an effective risk management capability; and much more. The conference will also feature a series of Leadership Roundtable Discussions through which participants will learn from leading risk practitioners about emerging trends and innovations in ERM.

Nate Booth, noted author and strategist, will deliver a keynote presentation “Thriving on Change” on Wednesday, November 2. RIMS will also debut its newly-created RIMS ERM Award of Distinction, which will be presented at a luncheon on Thursday, November 3. Nominations can be made online and winners will be selected by a panel consisting of ERM practitioners and academics. The overall winner will be highlighted as a best practices case study in a RIMS executive report or showcased in an article in Risk Management magazine.
