RIMS’ 13th annual RIMS on the Hill Legislative Conference

More than 40 risk professionals are expected to attend RIMS’ 13th annual RIMS on the Hill Legislative Conference, June 12 through 14, at The Madison, a Loews Hotel in Washington, D.C.

Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from leading risk professionals about a number of critical issues, including:

  • Strengthening the Medicare and Repaying Taxpayers Act of 2011 (SMART Act)
  • Expansion of the Risk Retention Act to include property insurance
  • Limits on deductibility of reinsurance premiums ceded by domestic insurers to offshore affiliates ("Neal bill")

He has also been a national political correspondent and columnist for the Los Angeles Times, as well as a finalist for a Pulitzer prize for his coverage of the 1996 and 2004 presidential elections.
