 Nationally Recognized Speaker & Renowned Wall Street Executive Alan Parisse to Deliver Keynote Address

 

NEW YORK (June 14, 2013) – RIMS, the risk management society™, has opened registration for RIMS ERM Conference 2013 scheduled for November 3 – 5 in San Francisco. The three-day conference will explore best practices for implementing and sustaining an enterprise-wide risk management program, as well as strategies for risk professionals to demonstrate the value of enhanced risk management capabilities to senior-level decision-makers.

 

Other key issues discussed at the conference will include:

    • Strategies for successfully implementing scenario planning;
    • Identifying and assessing “Black Swan” events and emerging risks;
    • Techniques for instilling a risk-aware culture;
    • Risk reporting processes and tools; and
    • Best practices in crises management.

Award-winning speaker and renowned Wall Street executive Alan Parisse will share his unique perspectives on how innovation and future thinking drive results for individuals and organizations.   His keynote address titled, “Innovation and Future Thinking” will be delivered on Monday, November 4th. 

The conference will also feature the presentation of the 2013 RIMS ERM Award of Distinction, an annual award intended to honor organizations that have created value through their ERM programs. Nominations can be sent to ERMaward@rims.org and will be accepted through August 30th.
