WORKSHOP: RISK ASSESSMENT METHODS

February 10 – 11, 2014

The Westin San Diego

This workshop is designed to help risk professionals determine the best risk assessment methods suitable for their organization and apply them accordingly within their organization's risk management framework. The workshop will also review exercises to help participants apply key and common risk assessment methods.

Instructor: Jan Mattingly, BA, CRM, CIP, ABCP is the President of Risk Results Consulting.

 

WEBINAR: WHAT’S OVER THE HORIZON? 2014
February 13, 2014 - 1:00 –2:00 p.m. ET | On Demand after February 13
In this webinar, attendees will hear how risk professionals can improve awareness and capabilities surrounding the risks that matter most by using techniques borrowed from strategy settings.  RIMS instructors will also describe how to move organizations into action by asking the right questions, monitoring changes and preparing for potential emerging risks.
Instructors: Carol A. Fox is the director of the RIMS Strategic & Enterprise Risk practice; Susan R. Meltzer is the Vice President of Enterprise Risk Management for Aviva Canada.


WORKSHOP:
ENTERPRISE RISK MANAGEMENT

February 26 – 28, 2014

RIMS New York Headquarters (1065 Avenue of the Americas, 13th Fl.)

Designed for the risk executive who wants to understand both the theory and application of ERM, workshop attendees will acquire an understanding of the ERM process, as well as ERM strategies and tools. This RIMS Fellow Workshop is a graduate level program and will include an overview of case studies, check-lists and hands-on exercises covering each of the ERM process steps.
