RIMS has recently developed a new Web based tool to allow you to update your chapter's officer roster online. We are looking for feedback and suggestions regarding use of this new tool.
Chapter Officer Roster Web Tool Instructions
Please edit your chapter's roster where necessary.
Use the Manage Officers tool and you will be presented with three search boxes. For updates to your chapter's roster you will be using the first option. Options two and three allow you to view past chapter officers and current officers.
1: Search for someone whose role you'd like to modify
Please note that you should modify your own role last when making updates to your chapter's roster. Access to making changes to the chapter's roster is only given to the Chapter President, Delegate, Secretary, and Assistant Secretary. If you are in one of these roles and then take yourself out of that role, you will no longer be able to make changes to the rest of the Board.
- Fill in as much information as you can. Since the webmaster, chapter administrator and database administrator do not have to be members of your chapter, this search will be very broad.
- Choose the person you wish to modify from the next screen.
- The next screen displays the roles this person is qualified to fill, any current roles are checked. Check to add or uncheck to remove a role.
- On the next screen you can set the date range for a new role, or adjust the dates for a current role.
- The final screen displays the current roles and history for that person.
2: View past officers for your chapter
- Click on search to see all history, or fill in the available fields to limit your search.
3: View current officers for your chapter
- Click on search to see the current officers for your chapter
