Did the pandemic drive the mental health crisis or just accelerate it? Dr. Jean Twenge, an expert on generation differences, has new research to share which shows the shift in the mental health of today’s emerging workforce dates to 2012. Learn why she feels “technology is just the worm at the core of the apple.” Join us as we delve into the mindset of Gen Z where many are embracing a slow life strategy to attain freedom and mobility, ultimately impacting their loyalty to employers.

We'll unravel the pervasive influence of a culture characterized by growing distrust and presumed toxicity, particularly on younger generations. We'll shed light on stereotypes that can lead to misunderstandings, conflicts, and biases in the workplace. Communication styles and preferences, as well as differing motivations and learning needs, will also be explored to help organizations bridge the generational divide effectively.

Joining Dr. Twenge will be Dr. Marcos Iglesias. He will help us break down what these generational differences could mean to employers and workplace injury recovery.
