In-Person Exam

Candidates can take the computer-based exam in-person at a Pearson VUE Testing Center. Testing centers are located throughout the United States, Canada, and around the globe.

You can sit for the certification exam at a convenient date and time within your eligibility period. For the best selection of dates, times, and locations, it is recommended that you schedule your appointment up to 60 calendar days before your desired exam date. However, you may schedule your exam at least 24 hours in advance. 

Testing centers can be located by visiting the RIMS-CRMP Exam page of the Pearson Professional Assessments website. Scheduling an online proctored exam is the same as scheduling an exam at a Pearson testing center. Candidates will be given the option to choose to take the exam at their home residence or in their office.

Here’s how to schedule an in-person exam:

When you receive your Authorization-To-Test email, you may proceed with scheduling your exam.

  1. Create an account on Pearson’s RIMS-CRMP Exam webpage. (Be sure to enter your First and Last names as they appear on your photo ID and the Candidate/PTI ID provided in the authorization email.)
  2. Then sign in at the same page.
  3. Select the “a testing center” exam option.
  4. On the dashboard, enter the Private Access Code you received in the Authorization-To-Test email.
  5. Agree to the exam policies.
  6. Schedule your exam.
