NEW YORK (February 10, 2026) – Bringing the conference theme of “Connect. Cultivate. Collaborate.” to life, this year’s RISKWORLD® will feature a new selection of opportunities for risk professionals to build dynamic business relationships that elevate risk programs and their careers. The global risk community will unite at RISKWORLD® – the largest gathering of risk management professionals and industry leading companies in the world – from May 3 – 6 in Philadelphia.

RIMS, the risk management society®, and the members of the RIMS RISKWORLD Program Planning Committee – a committee comprising risk professional who volunteer – have added the following networking and collaboration initiatives to this year’s RISKWORLD program:

• The Case Study and Meet-Up Lounge – The Case Study and Meet-Up Lounge will feature 30-minutes presentations showcasing organizations’ innovative approach to identifying, assessing and mitigating risk. Each session will highlight case studies – shared by risk professionals – that explore real world experiences and the strategies implemented to navigate them. RIMS is building community meet-ups in this area that will help facilitate networking opportunities. The schedule will be announced in March.

   

• Risk in Conversation Education Track – This education addition features new workshops that are designed to spark meaningful conversations and enhance peer-to-peer learning. Covering a range of emerging risks, the track’s roundtable discussion format aims to encourage interaction and collaboration.  

   

• Rock The Foundation After Dark Party – Support RIMS, The Foundation for Risk Management and celebrate the profession at this exclusive, ticketed after-party event. Held at one of Philadelphia’s hottest nightclubs NOTO, the event will feature an open bar, late night snacks, and an electric dance floor. All attendees are invited to purchase a ticket for this “after-hours” bash on Tuesday, May 5 from 9pm-12am. • Cinco De Mayo Inspired Networking Reception – RISKWORLD provides countless opportunities to learn, explore new solutions, and build powerful relationships. On Tuesday, May 5^th from 4 – 5pm attendees can unwind and connect with others in the RISKWORLD Marketplace.

In addition to these network-boosting opportunities, RISKWORLD will also feature these new enhancements:

• Increased Sustainability Efforts – Every year, RIMS implements a range of initiatives at RISKWORLD to reduce the conference’s carbon footprint. In addition to those sustainability initiatives, this year the colorful branded banners that bring the convention center to life will be donated to local farmers who will transform them into protective equipment covers, field covers and tarps for other farming needs. Additionally, in keeping with its sustainability commitment, RIMS will no longer produce the conference bag.

   

• AI Notetaking with Snapsight – Snapsight will help attendees capture key takeaways and generates idea clouds ensuring that RISKWORLD insight leads to real world success. The AI powered tool also features real-time translations in 75 different languages. Attendees’ personal devices and headphones are needed for the live audio translation function.
