As part of its ongoing Professional Development initiative, RIMS, the Risk Management Society™, will present the following educational offerings in the month of December:

 

WORKSHOP: CLAIMS MANAGEMENT

This workshop includes practical and sure-fire methods to improve your claims management process by identifying risks in a timely manner, preventing incidents, eliminating fraudulent claims, as well as exploring ways to increase your return on this significant investment.

WORKSHIOP: HARNESSING ENTERPRISE RISK MANAGEMENT TO TAP RISK APPETITE

December 9-10, 2013

RIMS Offices, New York

In this workshop, you will learn how to determine risk appetite and handle emerging risks, with an emphasis on long-term value creation and sustainability.

COURSECAST: WHAT’S OVER THE HORIZON?  MANAGING EMERGING STRATEGIC RISKS

SRM experts will host this interactive 90-minute online “mini-course” that will offer an overview of tools, techniques, and processes for developing a risk strategy that identifies emerging risks, as well as practical examples of scenario and resilience testing models.

WEBINAR: UNDERSTANDING REPUTATIONAL RISK
December 17, 2013 - 1:00 –2:00 p.m. ET | On Demand after December 17
This interactive webinar provides an introductory framework to enhance organizational efforts aimed at managing reputational risk and reputation performance over time. Authors from RIMS Executive Report “Understanding Reputational Risk” will provide an overview and reputational risk vs. brand risk distinction; reputational risk dimensions, reporting indicators and responsibility; and highlight the role risk professionals can play in the management process.
