Webcast Help

What is the difference between RIMS Webcasts and RIMS Lunchtime Learning Sessions?
RIMS Webcasts are pre-recorded sessions providing step-by-step training on RIMS resources.  On the other hand, Lunchtime Learning Sessions are live webcasts which allow users to participate interactively with session speakers.  Lunchtime Learning Sessions will be recorded and archived for later viewing.

Is RIMS Membership & Chapter Web Training Series a part of RIMS Professional Development Webinar/Podcast Series?
No, the Membership & Chapter Web Training Series has been developed by the RIMS Member and Chapter Services department. RIMS Professional Development Webinar/Podcast Series focuses on the technical aspects of risk management, providing insights and practical training on various topics relevant to risk managers.

Why are certain sessions only offered to Chapter Officers and Directors?
RIMS Chapters provide a wide range of services directly to RIMS members.  Because it is important for our chapters to stay informed on the resources we’ve developed to help them do their officer/director jobs easier and more efficiently, certain sessions are focused on providing information directly geared to Chapter Officers. Non-chapter officers, particularly members who are helping to support chapter activities or are interested in serving as officers are welcome to attend these sessions.

What is the fee to participate in the Membership & Chapter Web Training Series?
here is no fee to attend any of the Membership & Chapter Web Training sessions.  It is a complimentary benefit for being a RIMS member.
