In this module we will explore unusual situations as well as circumstances that require special handling. This will include situations involving minors, their rights and precautions that should be taken by claims professionals. We will explore the additional investigation and considerations that must be made when fatalities are involved. Controversial issues such as disputed rights of way, or when hostile witnesses are encountered will also be examined. This CourseCast will also review the unique circumstances surrounding impaired persons – those with physical or mental incapacity.
