  • Registration & Sponsorship

    • Can I register onsite?

      Onsite registration opens at 08:00 am on Monday, December 7, 2015 in the the ballroom pre-funcction area of the Conrad Dubai hotel on the 4th floor. RIMS accepts American Express, VISA, MasterCard, cash, corporate/personal/travelers checks or money orders payable in US Dollars drawn from a US bank.​

      Please note: Onsite registration fees are non-refundable.

    • How can I change my contact information?

      You may update your contact information by logging on to Once you have logged in using your email address and password, click on “Edit” next to individual information. You may also change your password on this page. Updating your RIMS profile does not update your conference registration contact information, to edit your registration information, please send your updated information to​

    • When do I need my badge?

      Only persons registered for this conference and wearing the proper badge will be admitted to educational sessions, RIMS meal functions and receptions. For security and safety, badges must be worn at all times.

      Anyone found to be counterfeiting, copying or sharing conference name badges, or using a guest badge when ineligible to do so, may be subject to sanctions up to and including removal from the conference and revocation of RIMS membership.

    • How can I sign up for the sessions that I want to attend?

      To add or change sessions and networking events, go to and login to 'Attendee Service Center'. 

      Although, it is not required to reserve your seat, making your selections in advance helps RIMS determine the size of the meeting room needed to accommodate all interested participants.

    • Am I member? Do I have to be a member to register?

      You may contact to inquire as to your membership status. One does not have to be a member of RIMS in order to register for the Conference. Non-members will be charged the non-member rate while members will remit the member rate.

    • Can I purchase an exhibit hall only pass or a single day pass?

      There is no a single day pass available for this show.​

    • Can I register by phone, mail, or fax?

      There is not phone, mail, or fax registration for this conference. All registrations must be completed by online

    • Do I get a discount if I am not listed as a member, but my company is?

      To receive the member rate, all registrants must be listed as a member under their organization's membership. To add a member under your organization's membership, please contact​. Non-members will pay the non-member rate.

    • How can I cancel my registration? What is the cancellation policy?

      Requests for cancellations/refunds and registration downgrades must be submitted in writing by November 6, 2015, by emailing All requests are subject to a US $75 administrative fee. There are no refunds after November 6, 2015. RIMS will not reimburse you if you do not attend.

      Please note: All administrative fees, additional registration items (such as the continuing education credit fee and the guest ticket fee[s] and onsite registration fees are non-refundable.

      Refund requests for payments made by wire transfer will be issued, less US $75 administrative fee, within 60 days. Refund requests for payments made by credit card will be issued, less US $75 administrative fee, within 10 business days after confirmation of receiving the request.

      RIMS reserves the right to cancel this conference if conditions warrant. In the event of such a cancellation, registration fees will be refunded. However, RIMS is not responsible for any travel or lodging expenses incurred due to cancellation of the conference. If for any reason you must cancel your conference registration, please remember to cancel your housing arrangements separately. RIMS is not responsible for hotel no-show fees or any travel or lodging expenses you might incur.

    • How do I transfer from Non-member to member? Can I get refund?

      If you registered for the conference as a non-member and subsequently become a member of RIMS, you may request a change in registration and a refund for the difference between the member and non-member rate via email to

    • How do I transfer my registration to a colleague?

      Requests to substitute or transfer your registration must be submitted in writing to Request to substitute or transfer your registration must be presented onsite at the Conrad Dubai Hotel and are subject to a US $75 administrative fee.

      All substitutions are subject to an administrative fee, plus any additional fees due to differences in the member type, e.g., transferring a member registration to a non-member registration. The individual submitting the substitution request is responsible for all financial obligations (any balance due) associated with that substitution.

    • When will I receive my registration confirmation email?

      You will receive two email confirmations, the first confirmation email will be sent 20 minutes after completion of conference registration, thus allowing registrant to book their hotel accommodations and receive a unified registration and housing confirmation. The second email confirmation is the “Know Before You Go” email, which will be sent approximately one week prior to the conference. 

    • Where can I pick-up my badge?

      All badges will be printed the ballroom pre-funcction area of the Conrad Dubai hotel on the 4th floor. Photo identification (and full payment) will be required to retrieve your badge.

  • How can I cancel my hotel reservation and what is the policy?

    Hotel Reservations and Cancellation Policies

    Connections Housing, the official housing company for the RIMS Risk Forum 2015 Middle East event, is now accepting hotel reservations. The Conrad Dubai Hotel is offering attendees a discounted room rate for single/double occupancy. A limited number of guest rooms are available at the reduced rate on a first-come, first-serve basis until the block sells out, or until 16 November 2015.

    Through this website you can book, modify or cancel your hotel reservations at any time and receive updated information about this event. To take advantage of the special RIMS Group rate, please book your reservation by 16 November 2015.

    If you cancel or reduce your reservation less than 14 days prior to arrival, hotel cancellation and early departure fees will apply.
