Please do not conduct business with any other travel or housing company claiming to represent RIMS.     Boston has three Amtrak stations: Back Bay Station (BBY), North Station (BON) and South Station (BOS). The Amtrak station closest to the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center is the South Station (BOS). However, you may want to select the station closest to your hotel.


    Taxis are available at designated areas of the airport; follow signs leading to the transportation plazas and a transportation coordinator will assist you.​

    Getting around Boston just got easier. Uber can pick you up from the airport or take you around town to business meetings. Uber is your on-demand private driver. Request a ride at any time using our iPhone and Android apps or from

    Shuttle Bus Service  

    Shuttle service will be provided for badged conference attendees between non-walkable RIMS hotels and the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.* (Walkable hotels are Aloft, Element, Envoy, Renaissance, Seaport, Westin Waterfront and Yotel.)     *Please note: Shuttle bus service will not be provided for Hotel Commonwealth, a non-walkable hotel.


    Valet parking is $30; cash and all major credit cards are accepted.

    Self-parking is available in the BCEC South Parking Lot. Parking rates are $20 for regular-sized vehicles and $40 for oversized vehicles. Parking is limited at the BCEC and is available on a first come, first served basis. Click here to learn more about parking options at BCEC.


    To request a letter of conference participation to RIMS 2019 Annual Conference & Exhibition, you must be registered for the full conference and must be confirmed. Your registration is not confirmed until full payment is received. Please email your request to our Client Services Team at​​, include the registration badge id number, your full name, institution/company name, and mailing address. Please allow five to seven business days for processing.
    RIMS encourages you to start your visa application process as soon as possible. Because of U.S. State Department regulations, U.S. embassies and consulates may require a face-to-face interview for most non-immigrant visa applications.
