RIMS 2018 SESSION DEADLINES
(TENTATIVE - Dates are subject to Change)

To view your session, update your contact information, upload your photo and biography visit:

The links will prompt you to enter your email address and password. If you don’t know your password, click on "Forgot your password." If you are having difficulty and need assistance, contact CST@RIMS.org.

2017

Sep​tember 12 Update (if any) to Primary Contact: Contact Kamy Persaud, Speakers@RIMS.org. Primary contact is the individual that oversees the session from the time of acceptance to the time it is offered at the conference. This individual will work with their respective ACPC liaison to meet all deadlines.
November 4 Add/confirm Speaker(s) and Risk Manager​: Add and review your speakers contact information (name, title, company) to ensure the correct information will appear on the RIMS website, due to open on December 1.
November 28 Sign Off on the RIMS Guidelines and Agreement​: ALL Speakers/Risk​​ Managers and Primary Contacts MUST review and sign off on the RIMS Session Guidelines and Agreement. 

 Upload your Biography and Photo. Photo image size should be 100 x 125 pixels (W x H) 72 dpi. Format should be .gif or .jpg. This information will appear in the RIMS mobile app.​
Update your Profile Information:
​After signing off on the agreement click on the button Speaker/Presenter Profile Photo & Bio Update​.

If you make changes to your profile (contact Information), be sure to click 'SAVE' at the bottom of the page.​
December 1 Registration Opens
Speakers/Risk Managers cannot register for the annual conference until all information above has been completed.

2018

January 19 Session Agenda/Outline: Send a copy of your agenda/outline via email to your Annual Conference Programming Committee liaison. (SampleOutline​)
January 26 Printed Conference Guide: Speaker/Risk Manager changes/additions (if any) to be submitted via the website to be included in the printed Conference Guide.

Note: Conference Guide is the last program that is published and distributed on-site. Changes made after this date will not appear in the Conference Guide.
February 2

REGISTRATION REMINDER: You cannot access the registration until all information below has been completed. 

Sign Off on the RIMS Guidelines and Agreement​: ALL Speakers/Risk​​ Managers and Primary Contacts MUST Sign off on the guidelines. 

 Upload your Biography and Photo. Photo image size should be 100 x 125 pixels (W x H) 72 dpi. Format should be .gif or .jpg. Biography is 150 words or less. This information will appear in the RIMS mobile app.​

Update your Profile Information
After signing off on the agreement click on the button Speaker/Presenter Profile Photo & Bio Update.

If you make changes to your profile (contact Information), be sure to click 'SAVE' at the bottom of the page.​
February 5 Audiovisual Requirements – Each session room is equipped for presentation management and have the following: LCD/screen, microphones, laptop and Wi-Fi.
April 6 Final Changes for Badge Credentials (Primary Contact) Speakers and primary contact change/or substitutions for badges.

Note: After this date all final speaker changes have to be made onsite at Speaker Services located in room 221A of the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center. The session primary contact MUST complete a substitution form if there are any changes.

PowerPoint/Handouts
Upload your PowerPoint presentation and handouts by the given deadline so attendees can download copies onto their laptop, RIMS mobile app or PDA ahead of the session. Visit www.RIMS.org/Upload.

All PowerPoint Presentations will be managed from one central e-library in the Speaker Center located in the Henry B. gonzalez Convention Center, Room 221A. In order for your presentation to appear in Presentation Management, you will need to upload all presentations/articles etc. by the given deadline. The format must be in PowerPoint and on the RIMS template.

If there are changes to your presentation after the deadline, save your updated presentation on a USB and bring it to the Speaker Center.
