Pre-Conference Workshops​

RIMS-CRMP Workshop | April 13–14 | 9:00 am​ – 4:30 pm​​

Attend this workshop to prepare for the RIMS-Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP) exam.* You will review the background and benefits of the certification as well as the core competencies of a risk professional. Case studies, hands-on exercises and an action planner are used throughout the workshop to prepare you to take the certification exam. The course also covers strategies for studying, test taking and utilizing testing centers. This workshop is based on the RIMS-CRMP Certification Handbook.​
 *This course is not intended to replace other resources needed to prepare for the examination nor guarantee you will pass the exam.

Enterprise Risk Management | April 13–15 | 9:00 am – 4:30 pm​

Contractual Risk Transfer | April 14–15 | 9:00 am – 4:30 pm​

This workshop will address commercial contracts and insurance policies as risk transfer vehicles relating to commercial insurance, insured agreements, indemnity agreements and captive insurance. You’ll learn the skills needed to understand and draft a contract that effectively transfers risk while reducing your company’s exposure to loss.
