A US $25 non-refundable service fee will be added for phone, mail and faxed registrations (click here to download the paper form​). To avoid the service fee, register online. Options to pay by check and bank transfer are available with online registration. ​

Cancellations and Refunds

Requests for cancellations/refunds must be submitted in writing by February 16, 2018, by emailing rims_registration@goeshow.com. All requests are subject to a US $250 administrative fee. Refunds are not given after February 16, 2018, and RIMS will not reimburse you if you do not attend.

Please note: All administrative fees, additional registration items (such as the continuing education credit fee and the guest ticket fee[s]) and onsite registration fees are non-refundable.

Refund requests for payments made by check will be issued, less US $250 administrative fee, within 60 days following the conference.

Refund requests for payments made by credit card will be issued, less US $250 administrative fee, within 30 business days after confirmation of receiving the request.

On-Site Registration

Registration is located in the Main Lobby of the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center. Photo identification (and full payment) will be required to retrieve your badge.

If a member organization registers two dues-paying Professional Members for Full Conference passes, any subsequent dues-paying Professional Members may register with the Additional Professional Member Discount.​

Events and Admittance  

Only individuals registered and badged may attend conference events. Attendees must have appropriate badge to attend educational sessions, breakfasts and luncheons and to enter the Exhibit Hall. The Full Conference Pass is all-inclusive. The One Day Pass entitles you to sessions, entrance to the Exhibit Hall and admittance to that day’s events. Individuals must be over age 21 in order to participate in the RIMS Annual Conference & Exhibition, and attend all related events.
 
Monday Registrants may attend the RIMS Opening Reception (Sunday night), General Session and Opening Keynotes.
 
Tuesday Registrants must purchase a ticket to attend the RIMS Opening Reception for US $150.
 
Wednesday Registrants may attend Conference Finale and Closing Keynote. To attend the RIMS Opening Reception, purchase a ticket for US $150.

Guest Registration – US $300
*Guests (over 21 years of age) will require a Guest Registration to attend all three events: Opening Reception, General Session and Opening Keynotes and Conference Finale and Closing Keynote. Only full conference attendees may purchase a Guest Registration (limit of 1) for US$ 300. A guest is defined as a spouse, significant other, family member or friend whose occupation is unrelated to the risk and insurance management profession. A co-worker or associate within the profession is not eligible for guest registration. Guest registration includes RIMS shuttle bus transportation between a RIMS hotel and the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center. Guest registration does not include access to educational sessions, and thus guests are not eligible for continuing education credits, nor does the guest badge permit access to the RIMS 2018 Marketplace. Please note: guests will receive different badges from other participants. It is against RIMS policy to register someone in the guest category who does not meet with the aforementioned guest criteria.

Opening Reception Event Ticket – US $150
You don’t have to be registered for the conference to mix and mingle with your industry peers. Each attendee is permitted to purchase up to five event tickets for colleagues to access the Opening Reception! This ticket includes RIMS shuttle bus transportation between a RIMS hotel and at the MOSAIC Reception. This ticket does not include access to any other RIMS event. Access to Opening Reception is limited to people 21 years of age and older.
