Deadlines are firm and MUST not be missed
October 10 Update to Primary Contact (coordinator change, if any). Contact Kamy Persaud, Speakers@RIMS.org.

Primary Contact to Confirm Speaker(s) and Risk Manager, visit www.RIMS.org/SessionEdit.

Review Speakers contact information (name, title, company) to ensure the correct information will appear on the RIMS website due to open on December 4.

Speaker Contact Update: Visit www.RIMS.org/MyProfile. If you make changes to your profile (contact Information), be sure to click 'SAVE' at the bottom of the page.

Photo Upload: NEW for RIMS `15 - All speakers photo will be displayed on the digital signage. In order for all signage to display correctly, please upload a high resolution photo size 400h x 560w pixels, format .gif or .jpg. Visit www.RIMS.org/ViewSession.


Biography: Submit your biography of 500 words (or less) for the RIMS `15 mobile app. Visit www.RIMS.org/ViewSession.

January 9 Session Agenda/Outline - Send a copy of your agenda/outline via email to your Annual Conference Programming Committee liaison. (SampleOutline.pdf Sample Outline)

Conference Guide - Primary Contact to update speaker changes/additions (if any) to be submitted via the website www.RIMS.org/SessionEdit to be included in the printed Conference Guide. 

 

Note: Conference Guide is the last program that is published and distributed on-site. Changes made after this date will not appear in the Conference Guide.

March 20 Audiovisual Requirements - RIMS will supply each session with the following: LCD/screen, microphones, laptop and Wi-Fi.

Final Changes for Badge Credentials - Speakers and Coordinators name change/or substitutions for badges

Note: After this date all final speaker changes have to be made onsite at Speaker Services located in the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans. The session coordinator MUST complete a substitution form if there are any changes.

Upload Handouts - Presentation Management: Upload all handouts by the given deadline so attendees can download copies onto their laptop or PDA ahead of the session. Visit www.RIMS.org/Upload.

All PowerPoint Presentations will be managed from one central e-library located in the Speaker Ready Room located in the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, Room 211). In order for your presentation to appear in Presentation Management, you will need to upload all presentations/articles etc. by the given deadline.  The format must be in PowerPoint.  If there are changes to your presentation after the deadline, save your updated presentation on a USB and bring it to the Speaker Ready Room.
