  • October 14, 2011
    Coordinator Guidelines - Coordinators MUST sign off on the RIMS Speaker/Coordinator Sessions Guidelines and Release Form before proceeding to edit sessions.

  • October 28, 2011
    Confirmation of RM Speaker - Confirm Risk Management Speaker(s) with your Conference Programming liaison.

  •  November 4, 2011
    Conference Program -
    Update to coordinator change (if any), speakers' change/addition to be submitted via the RIMS Website to be included in the Conference Program.  www.RIMS.org/MyPresentations  

    To Add/Change Speakers to your Session

    1. Visit www.RIMS.org/MyPresentations --> Approved Session(s) is located under Submissions for 2012 Annual Conference
    2. Click on EDIT to access your session. To add a new speaker scroll down to 'Add a Speaker to this Session' and enter the first and last name and e-mail address.
      Please note: It is important to have the correct email address as a letter is sent automatically from RIMS to the speaker with session details.
    3. If your speaker appears in the list of names, check the radio button and click on submit. If your speaker name does not appear in the list, check 'none of the above' and complete the contact information requested. Set password as last name. (Repeat step 2 to add speaker).
    4. Once you've added your speaker, click on UPDATE to save the changes before exiting the website.

    Please note:  Be sure the information you are entering is correct, as that information is extracted for use in the Conference Program and Conference Guide, sending blast emails and creating name badges.

    Note: Information collected will be used to promote sessions in all promotional materials and the RIMS Website.

    Note: It is imperative that your Profile information is correct. Also, all Speakers MUST agree to the 2012 Speaker/Coordinator Session Guidelines and Release Form in order to present at the conference and have your name, title and company printed in the Conference Program.

  • January 18, 2012 - Extended
    Conference Guide - Speakers and Coordinator changes/additions (if any) to be submitted via the RIMS Website to be included in the Conference Guide. To edit Session: www.RIMS.org/MyPresentations      To find a session: www.RIMS.org/FindaSession

    Note: Conference Guide is the last program that is published and distributed on-site. Changes made after this date will not appear in the Conference Guide.

    Audiovisual Requirements
    - RIMS will supply each session with the following: LCD projector with screen, 2 tabletop microphones and 1 podium with lavaliere microphone.

    Note: RIMS does not supply computers/laptops, phones or Internet connectivity. If these items are needed, the speaker/panelist must notify the session coordinator and not the CPC liaison. The speaker/panelist will be responsible for all costs associated with the additional items. Audiovisual requests will not be accommodated on-site.

    Final Changes for Badge Credentials
    - Speakers and Coordinators name change/or substitutions for badges and tent cards.

    Note: The RIMS Website will be closed on Friday, March 16. After this date all final speaker changes have to be made onsite at Speaker Services located in the Philadelphia Convention Center. The session coordinator MUST complete a substitution form if there are any changes.

    Upload Handouts
    - In an effort to continue our green initiative we ask that you please upload all handouts by the given deadline so attendees can download copies onto their laptop or PDA ahead of the session. Visit www.RIMS.org/Upload
