Janice Ochenkowski is a Managing Director at Jones Lang LaSalle, in Chicago, Illinois. She is the Director of Global Risk Management, where she heads a 10 person risk management department. Ms. Ochenkowski has been responsible for risk management at Jones Lang LaSalle and its predecessors since 1980. Jones Lang LaSalle, which has over 20,000 employees in countries around the world, is recognized as one of the leading global real estate firms.
Ms. Ochenkowski’s recent activities with RIMS include her testifying to Congress and speaking to the media on behalf of RIMS’ on the issue of tort reform, broker compensation, quality, and the current financial crisis. Ms. Ochenkowski has served RIMS in the following capacities:

Ms. Ochenkowski is a recognized speaker on real estate risk management. In 2007, Business Insurance named her one of the year’s “Women to Watch” and in January, 2008 she was named one of twenty “People to Watch in 2008” by the same publication.
