Join RIMS and Zurich at RIMS 2014 Annual Conference & Exhibition as we work together to give back to the city of Denver.
Who: RIMS, Zurich and you!
What: Join RIMS and Zurich as we spend the day helping Savio House. Founded in the early 1960s as an orphanage, Savio House intervenes in the lives of families to strengthen them so they may keep their children and remain an intact family. Without these services, most of which are delivered in the families' home, children and adolescents would be placed in foster, group and correctional care. Savio's goal is to educate families in a prompt fashion and to quickly terminate our intrusion into their lives. We’ll spend the day doing up-keep to the facilities, such as painting, landscaping and cleaning.
This will include a spring clean-up, where we will trim bushes and roses to remove dead branches and overgrowth and giving the parking lots a fresh coat of paint. We will clean and paint the Visitation Center where families can meet with children who were removed from their homes. We will also help paint and lay floor coverings in the Boy's Residential Center.
When: Sunday, April 27 from 8:00 am to 3 pm*

Testimonials from individuals when asked what the best part of the program is...
My counselor helped me build a good relationship with my daughter. She NEVER made me feel like I was a bad parent or like I was in the "system."
-- Savio Parent
Our counselor is always encouraging, positive, and happy. She is comfortable to be with – she puts us at ease. Our son loves her visits.
-- Savio Parent
The Savio staff are very well trained and knowledgeable. I am especially pleased with the in-home TF-CBT service that is being provided to a family on my caseload. The family reports satisfaction and noticeable progress as a result of this service.
