In just 3 days at RIMS 2013 Annual Conference & Exhibition, you can earn up to 10 hours of credit for full conference attendance (approval pending.) RIMS Fellow candidates can earn one credit towards the workshop requirement of the designation.

There is a one-time, non-refundable application fee of just U.S. $99. This fee covers all license types inclusively; you will not need a fee for each license.
Please note: IND–Industry, Associate in Risk Management Review sessions, and some additional educational sessions may not qualify for CE/CEU/CLE/CPE/RF credits.  A list of qualified sessions will be posted in January.

Some states offer the opportunity for attorneys licensed in that state to earn CLE credits for activities accredited in other jurisdictions.  Please contact your state bar or licensing authority to verify the requirements and process to apply for reciprocity.

RIMS Fellow: - Seven hours of attendance will earn one credit towards the workshop requirements.

Mandatory Attendance: - To obtain CE/CEU/CLE/CPE/RF credit in the above quantities, attendee will be required to:

  1. Register and pay for CE/CEU/CLE/CPE/RF.
  2. Track your sessions attended on the CE/CEU/CLE/CPE/RF Attendance Tracking Form. Pick up a copy at the Continuing Education counter located at registration in the South Lobby next to Speaker Services.
  3. Session tracking will be administered by the assigned door monitor at each session.  At the conclusion of each session make sure the door monitor stamp your Attendance Tracker Form. This serves as confirmation of attendance. RIMS WILL NOT accept a session attended unless confirmed with a stamp.
  4. Turn in your Attendance Tracking Form at the Continuing Education Counter before you leave the conference along with the signed attestation statement located on the last page of the Tracking form. If you are attending multiple days, maintain the Attendance Tracker until your final day then turn in.

Obtaining Credit Following the Conference: - attendee will be required to:

  1. You will receive an email with a web-link following the conference from CEU Institute.  The link will take you to a form that will request license and state information, email, and ask to complete a brief evaluation. 
  2. Once the form is submitted, your attendance will be validated against the registration data. Certificate of completion will then be sent via email. This process typically takes 48-72hours.
  3. State credit will be posted to transcript with each state within 10 days of receipt of web-form completion.
  4. RIMS Fellow (RF) Credits will be sent to the Global Risk Management Institute (GRIMI) and be credited towards the workshop requirement of the RF designation.
  5. Keep your attendance certificate on file for 4 years or as required by your licensing authority.
  6.  It is your responsibility track your sessions. Incomplete Tracking Forms cannot be verified after the fact.
